Africa Science Week comes to Malawi!....

With support from the Next Einstein Forum, an initiative of the African Institute for Mathematics and Sciences with partnership with Robert Bosch Stiftung, mHub is hosting the first of a 13 country series Africa Science Week from June 27th- 30th June.

Africa Science at mHub will start with A Creative Design Workshop on Tuesday June 27th to train attendees with skills in how to bring ideas to life through innovative design by sharpening their design skills.

Wednesday June 28th we'll have a Digital Skills for Women in STEM. Through this workshop, we plan to train and equip women with skills in digital technology including Social Media Management, web development, photography and other electronic tools that generate, store and process data.

Thursday June 29th, we'll have a Hardware Programming Workshop for mHub community members and college students. Through this workshop, participants will walk away with knowledge in the principles of electronic and programming, and creating solutions using Arduino borads. 

The Hardware Programming Workship will be followed by a Tech Discovery for Children in the afternoon we're calling all Children who have a nack for technology. Children will be equipped with technology and critical thinking skills necessary to compete in a global society. It has been proven through research that Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics training is an important element in developing student creativity and problem solving skills needed for innovation.

On June 30th, we'll close out the week the an Expo Day Festival of STEM that will have exhibitions, career talks and activities in STEM!
