In June 2015; technology entrepreneur Rachel Sibande received an award from giant technology corporation Google for outstanding Computer Science Students around the world. Rachel is CEO and founder of Malawi’s first  technology incubator mHub.

Rachel Sibande’s work is giving hope to young technology entrepreneurs in the country who are struggling to build business models and make pitches to relevant industries.

mHub embraces young technology innovators through developer meet ups and mentorship for technology entrepreneurs with an aim of helping technology startups grow and build profitable business models. mHub has brought about startup discoveries, built networking relationships and opportunities for Malawian innovators in what seemed like a no-go zone for fresh ideas in the business area.
