COMMUNITY LEADERS: DIGITAL JOBS

mHub in collaboration with DOT is implementing the “Daring to Shift” Project in Malawi. The project seeks to enhance the economic and social inclusion of young women and men through the delivery of digital, entrepreneurship, employability and leadership training and support.

mHub is looking for dedicated youths to take up the positions of community leaders who will be responsible for delivering Digital Jobs training programs to the youth and women in their local communities.

Eligibility Criteria

University graduate. Those with additional certifications in the IT and entrepreneurship field will have an added advantage. (Undergraduate and postgraduate)

Must be between the ages of 18-35.

Must be based in Zomba or Lilongwe

Must be willing to commit to the project for a period of six months

A good understanding of trends, innovations and challenges affecting the new/emerging businesses.

Have above average ICT skills and specifically Microsoft office suite: advanced excel and Google Suite skillsHave relative experience and knowledge in managing or working with groups, community engagement and community mobilization.

Own a digital tool such as a smartphone and access to a computer
